Dance House Napa Valley

The Dance House Napa Valley offers classes in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Acro, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Creative Movement, Combo Fusion, Adult Fitness, and Private Lessons. All classes participate in an annual year-end recital at the completion of the session. Private lessons are available year round.

The Dance House Napa Valley is presented by educator and award-winning choreographer Alex Blitstein, who serves as Artistic Director, Founder, and Owner. Alex Blitstein earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance and Science from San Diego State University and received the “SDSU Alumni to Watch Award” from the university. He has been a faculty member for dance conventions 24Seven, Jump, Nuvo, Hollywood Connection, and Titans of Dance, and he is the Executive Director of Marketing for Showbiz National Dance Competition. His teaching experience includes universities, competitive studios, professional companies, the World Arena Olympic Training Center, Broadway Dance Center in New York City, and the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles. His belief is that dance is a universal language that everyone should have the opportunity to experience. The studio name was chosen based on the idea that a house becomes a home when people are able to dance, dream, and discover in it, and the new phone number listed for the studio is 707-927-3427.

Alex Blitstein is a board member of The Meraki Project, a Colorado-based dance event that brings together hundreds of dancers for a weekend of dance intensive classes, scholarship auditions, and a showcase, with all proceeds donated to various charities. He was invited to perform, guest teach, and choreograph the opening number for a TRUTH 365 event in Houston, Texas, connected to The Truth 365, which is described as an Emmy Award-Winning grass-roots documentary film and social media campaign that gives a voice to children fighting cancer.
