Academy Swim Club Summer Swim Camp

Academy Swim Club Summer Swim Camp is a week-long camp for children age 5-10 years old. It includes two 30-minute group swim lessons each week, free swim every other day, swimming each day in a warm indoor pool, and other activities such as games, STEM activities, sports, creative time, group speaking skills, water safety training, edible crafts, science experiments and projects, and social activities.

Programs

• Summer Swim Camp — Children age 5-10 years old · Monday-Thursday 8:00am-3:00pm, Friday 8:00am-2:00pm · Themed week-long sessions; includes two 30-minute group swim lessons each week, free swim every other day, swimming each day in a warm indoor pool, and other activities.
• Swim Lessons — Year-round · Year-round swimming instruction and drowning prevention training.
• Private Lessons — Any age · $196–$244 per month · One-on-one private lessons; lessons are 20 minutes long.
• Semi-Private Lessons — 3+ years old only · $132–$164 per month · Two students per instructor; lessons are 20 minutes long.
• Group Lessons — 3+ years old only · Ongoing classes with students graduating from one level to the next; beginner levels are limited to 4 students per instructor.
• Baby Swim — Baby Swim is at the Valencia location only.
• Torpedo Swim Launch — An accelerated summer swim program.

About the provider

Academy Swim Club has provided swim instruction since 1985. The camp is monitored by professionals who are highly vetted and trained, including lifeguards, and staff are lifeguard certified, mature, caring, and highly trained. The mission statement is: To inspire individuals, families and youth to Learn to Swim… for LIFE!

Limited availability. Tuition assistance may be available for qualifying families. For children under 3 years old, only Baby Swim classes at the Valencia location receive tuition assistance; for over 3 years old, only Group classes at the Newhall location receive tuition assistance. 100% tuition assistance is not offered and is only awarded for a defined period of time.
