Back Bay Therapeutic Riding Center

Back Bay Therapeutic Riding Center offers therapeutic riding lessons, Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL), Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy & Therapy (EAPT), and other horse-based activities. These offerings are for children, teens, and adults with special needs, including individuals with physical and mental special needs.

About the provider

Back Bay Therapeutic Riding Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that became officially a nonprofit in 2007. It has more than two decades of service, is a member of PATH, Intl., and includes certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors and Equine Specialists in Mental Health & Learning (EAGALA certified). The program has served over 1,000 volunteers and more than 600 individuals with special needs, and it has hosted many OT students for their first fieldwork experiences.

Trained volunteers and dedicated staff challenge each rider as they strive to achieve their individual goals.
