Camp James Summer Day Camp offers activities such as Archery, Go Carts, Rock Climbing, Kayak, Arts & Crafts, Dance, Sports, and Swimming. Each day, campers have four activities, including at least one water activity. All activities take place on camp grounds, and the camp is a cell free environment where staff use camp-only nicknames such as Legend, Cocoa, Northshore, Koda, and Grey Squirrel.
• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: Weekly sessions from June 8–August 14, 2026, with camp hours 9:00 am–4:00 pm and a grace period from 8:30–9:00 am and 4:00–4:30 pm
• Price: There is a $35 registration fee per camper; camp rates depend on the day of registration, with lower prices for earlier registration and minimum weeks required for each rate
Parents can select their own schedule so campers attend only on the weeks they choose, and packages are sold by the week. Groups are co-ed, organized by age, and are not overfilled, as the camp follows group ratios. Each camper must be checked in and picked up daily by an adult using a pick up code, with the option of Drive Thru Drop Off in the morning and in-person check out with the counselor in the afternoon; late arrivals must be escorted to their group. Campers are asked to leave cell phones, watches, and tablets at home. The camp states that campers may come home dirty and tired and that it does more than just Water Park activities during the day.
