Camp James Summer Day Camp offers Summer Camp for children ages 5 to 13. Activities include Archery, Go Carts, Rock Climbing, Kayak, Arts & Crafts, Dance, Sports, and Swimming. Packages are sold by the week, and parents can select their own schedule so campers attend only the weeks they want.

- General schedule: Packages are sold by the week. Parents can select their own schedule so campers can attend only on the weeks they desire. The camp offers 10 weeks of summer camp. Each group will have the opportunity to experience all the activities camp has to offer throughout the week. Each day your child will have 4 activities, including at least one water activity a day.

The camp says its directors are educated, experienced, and dedicated professionals. It states that for over 30 years, the camp has been a popular and trusted summer day camp in Orange County. The camp’s philosophy is "Be Kind" to each other, the environment, and the campgrounds, and it says it was voted #1 Day Camp in Newport Beach and is accredited through the American Camp Association.
Groups are not overfilled. No refunds. No make-up days. Schedule changes require written notice and a 2 week notice; changes are subject to availability and may incur a $25 fee. Campers must leave cell phones, watches, and tablets at home. Campers may be asked to leave for behavioral reasons or if the camp cannot meet certain needs. An adult needs to check in each camper each day and pick up each day with a pick up code.
