St. Mark Community Preschool

St. Mark Community Preschool offers a preschool program for children ages 2.5 to 6 years old, with enrollment options of 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week. The program also includes a summer program held Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Extended care is available Monday through Friday, with Morning Extended Day from 8:00-9:00am and Afternoon Extended Day from 1:00-2:00pm for children enrolled until 1:00, or 2:00-3:00pm for children enrolled until 2:00, at $20 per day.

About the provider

The director is Monica Heredia. The preschool’s mission is to be an inclusive and nurturing community that fosters the social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and physical growth of the children in its care, and it aims to provide an atmosphere that affirms the importance of every person and encourages creative exploration of the physical world, interpersonal relationships, and new ideas. Its community involvement includes monthly chapel with Pastor Mark, school-year events with Pastor Mark that all families are invited to join, outdoor learning, gardening activities, environmentalism, noticing wildlife, and identifying native plants.

• Extended care program — Monday through Friday; Morning Extended Day 8:00-9:00am; Afternoon Extended Day 1:00-2:00pm for children enrolled until 1:00, or 2:00-3:00pm for children enrolled until 2:00 · $20 per day · 2:00-3:00 extended day may be cancelled as needed for Staff Meetings.

Non-profit weekday preschool open to children of all racial, religious and ethnic backgrounds. Potty trained children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old are mentioned for the half day and optional extended day preschool schedules. The preschool uses a developmentally appropriate program and offers an Enrollment Application that places a child on a waiting list if openings are not available.
