Nipomo Recreation offers a variety of programs, including a Youth Basketball League, Basketball Camp 2026, and a Girls Volleyball Clinic April 6th–8th. The program also runs Little Bits Preschool & Toddler Center, Before and After school care, Dana After School Care, and Spring BLAST Before Care. Nipomo Recreation also organizes Special Events throughout the year and runs the Clean Streets Project.

Nipomo Recreation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. It has served the community of Nipomo and surrounding areas since 1989. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life for all residents of the Greater Nipomo area by providing diverse and quality recreation programs, services, athletic opportunities and facilities in direct response to the needs of Nipomo. Nipomo Recreation provides service for families of children ages 6 weeks through 8th grade.
The original Nipomo Recreation Center on Frontage Road was created and constructed solely through community fundraising and support. Nipomo Recreation has many programs that benefit the Nipomo community, including teaming up with LMUSD with the Bright Futures program. It has also teamed up with the NCSD, Achievement House, and South County Sanitation to help keep the streets of Nipomo clean through the Clean Streets Project.
