All Saints Preschool and Children’s Center

All Saints Preschool and Children’s Center is part of All Saints Lutheran Church and serves approximately 50 children year-round. The Center’s program takes place in a Christ-centered setting with a developmentally appropriate, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environment and curriculum. The Center is governed by a committee that includes congregation members, center staff, and a non-member parent.

All Saints Preschool and Children’s Center has been providing Christian education and care in Novato since 1977. The Center is led by Director Kristie Boyden and Assistant Director Sue Kovarik. All Saints Lutheran Church, which oversees the Center, is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the Sierra Pacific Synod and is a Reconciling in Christ congregation. The mission of the Center states that each child is recognized and treated as a unique and valued creation of God with individual talents and abilities, and that the environment is based on mutual cooperation, forgiveness, and love among parents, students, and teachers. The mission also affirms the diversity of God’s family through its multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environment and curriculum and describes the children’s ministry as a response to social, educational, and spiritual needs in the community.
