Cal-Star Gymnastics Camps and Classes

Cal-Star Gymnastics Camps and Classes includes structured gymnastics lessons, group games, arts and crafts, open gym, Ninja themed obstacle courses, tumbling, trampoline, stunting, and dance. Participants in the Summer Cheer Camp learn a short routine to perform in the downtown Novato 4th of July Parade.

Cal-Star Gymnastics opened in 1996 and is owned by Amber Myers. Programs include boys and girls recreational gymnastics, tumbling, trampoline, and Ninja training, as well as competitive team levels 2–10 in the women’s Junior Olympic program and participation in the National TOPS program. The All-Star Cheer program includes full-year prep and elite teams for ages 7–17 years, and a Jr. Coach Program is available for ages 14–16 years old with 3, 6, and 9 month training options to learn how to coach gymnastics, parkour, cheerleading, and assist at camps.

The mission of Cal-Star Gymnastics is to inspire and empower young athletes with a staff that aims to create a safe, supportive environment where every student can reach their full potential. The coaching staff has cleared a thorough background check, holds USAG Instructor or Professional membership, is Safesport certified, CPR/First Aid certified, USAG Safety certified, and has passed the U100 Gymnastics course. Coaches earn continuing education credits through online courses, attending Gymnastics Congress and USAG clinics during the year, and receive in-house training provided annually by staff with over 30 years of coaching experience.
