Cal-Star Gymnastics Jr. Coach Program

Cal-Star Gymnastics Jr. Coach Program focuses on teaching participants how to coach gymnastics, parkour, and cheerleading. The program also includes assisting at camps as part of the training. It is available as a 3, 6, or 9 month training program.

Cal-Star Gymnastics Jr. Coach Program is part of Cal-Star Gymnastics, which opened in 1996 and is owned by Amber Myers. The coaching staff has cleared a thorough background check, holds USAG Instructor or Professional membership, is Safesport certified, CPR/First Aid certified, and USAG Safety certified, and has passed the U100 Gymnastics course. Coaches earn continuing education credits through online courses, attending Gymnastics Congress and USAG clinics during the year, and receive in-house training from staff with over 30 years of coaching experience annually. The program offers a recommendation letter upon completion or a possible job opportunity. The stated mission is to inspire and empower young athletes with a passionate and dedicated staff in a safe, supportive environment where every student can reach their full potential.
