Hummingbirds’ Collaborative School is a bilingual nature-based school for Preschool–8th Grade that first began with a preschool class whose original students are now in 5th grade. The school states that it is an alternative community devoted to using whole child development methods in a holistic approach to education, with an emphasis on sensory integration and a growth mindset, and a hands-on curriculum that integrates critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and the arts. Its Homeschool and Homeschool Enrichment Programs use a Waldorf-inspired curriculum, are open to Kindergarten through 5th grade for enrichment, and offer families in-person learning opportunities and a school community. The program holds license number 214005477. One parent, Colleen C., shares that Hummingbirds’ Collaborative has been “such a wonderful, amazing school program” for both of her children and that they have “learned how to be a loving, kind, compassionate human beings.”
