Miss Sandie's School

Miss Sandie's School offers an activity-based curriculum that includes art, constructive play, exploration, music, outdoor play, and a variety of classroom learning centers. Children take part in activities in the Discovery Center, Block & Building Center, Pre-writing Center, Library Center, Art Center, Dramatic Play Center, Music and Movement Center, and Garden Center. The program also includes a letter of the week activity, Circle Time, and access to a Pre-K play yard with climbing structures, slides, swings, a basketball hoop, a lawn area, a large sandbox, and a tricycle track.

• Schedule: Open year-round with multiple schedule options from 2 to 5 days per week, offering morning to full-day programs; current hours are Monday–Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (Infant Room 8:00 am to 5:30 pm)

Miss Sandie's School has been in operation since 1979 and has provided pre-school programs and infant/toddler care in the Novato–North Bay Area for over 45 years. The program serves infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-kindergarten children and is open year-round. The stated goal and mission are to provide a safe, engaging environment where children can create positive relationships and have a healthy, creative, and fun learning experience, and to offer an environment that encourages intellectual, social, and physical development while children learn, discover, and grow. The program’s stated goal is also to nurture students’ natural love of learning through art, constructive play, exploration, music, and outdoor play, and to encourage them to be confident, responsible, and kind individuals, while preparing them for Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten and for how to navigate life. The school holds licenses 213005582 and 213005583.
