North Bay Children’s Center Preschool Program offers full-year and part-year preschool options with both full-day and half-day schedules. Families can choose from full-year programs with extended hours or part-year half-day preschool sessions in the morning or afternoon.

Since 1988, North Bay Children’s Center programs have operated with a focus on early learning for young children and report 38 years of experience preparing children for success. The organization states that 100% of its graduates have the proficiencies needed to enter kindergarten. North Bay Children’s Center provides child care and early education to more than 600 children and 650+ families across Marin and Sonoma counties each year, and annually provides 4,410 hours of child care and 303,000 healthy meals across 13 school sites through its programs, including its Garden of Eatin’® program.

Area and site leadership includes Marin Area Director Donje Fields, who has over 7 years of experience in early childhood education and a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development, and Area Director Leydis Mata, who has over 25 years of experience in early childhood education and holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education. Enrollment Manager Irma Mendoza has over 13 years of experience in early childhood education and works across the North Bay region to support access to early learning programs. Site leadership for preschool locations includes Site Director Nicole Porter and Site Supervisors Jajuan Jaymes, Laura Avila, Viviana Martinez, Christy Chum, Jessica Fenech, Kristie Lueza, Bobbi Cardenas (Area Director), Margarita Vazquez, Katie Peterson, Kristen Berg, Jamie Howlett, Michelle Johnson, and Joleynn Smith.
Board and committee leadership includes Emily, who serves as Hanson Bridgett’s Assistant General Counsel and sits on the board of North Bay Children’s Center as part of her pro bono legal work, and Beth Wolk, a retired elementary school administrator and child care center director with over 17 years of leadership experience in education who has served on the board for 8 years. Jeanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a California Teaching Credential and serves on the Resource Development Committee of the Board.
