Tryfon Stathopoulos, the owner and head instructor, opened North Bay in 2011. He received his black belt in 2013 from Eduardo Rocha. The leadership team includes instructors Chris Cashman, who received his black belt in 2021, Paulo Silva, who has a degree in psychology, and Dmytro Pakhan, who holds a degree in physical education. The program's mission emphasizes character development through the practice of Jiu Jitsu, encouraging participants to learn from both victories and defeats.
