Novato Youth Soccer Association offers the NYSA Fall Recreation Program and the North Marin United Competitive Soccer Program (U8–U19). Families can also find 2026/27 North Marin United Tryout Registration and 2026 NYSA Recreation Coach Registration through the program. North Marin United teams are trained by professional coaches and use a curriculum-based training program for player development, and all players participate in a tryout process where coaches evaluate and place them based on skill level, attitude, and experience.

North Marin United teams compete at a higher level and require a greater commitment from players. The Novato Youth Soccer Association is powered by more than 200 dedicated volunteers, including 20+ board members and 200 volunteer coaches and team parents. Leadership for the program includes Yasert Ortega as Director of Coaching and Lauren Byrd as Assistant Director of Coaching. The organization notes that late registration is open for the NYSA Fall Recreation Program, that several age divisions have reached capacity and are closed, and that remaining openings are filled on a first-come, first-served basis until divisions are full.
