Legends Elite Kickboxing & MMA offers youth boxing, youth kickboxing, kids sparring, and grappling sparring, along with open mat time that can include boxing or kickboxing sparring. The program is part of a broader training schedule that also includes MMA and grappling.
• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Youth boxing and youth kickboxing classes for ages 7–14 are offered Monday–Thursday in the late afternoon, with kids sparring on Fridays and general contact hours available Monday–Friday mornings and evenings.
• Price: $60 per month for kids or adult classes one day a week; $90 per month for adult kickboxing and MMA two days a week; $140 per month for unlimited adult kickboxing and MMA classes; $90 per month for an unlimited kids plan with the option to add another child for $50; one free trial class, then a $20 drop-in fee for non-members including sparring days; no sign-up or annual fees; military and first responders receive 10% off; a card must be kept on file for membership with a 30-day cancellation policy.
The program is led by instructor and coach Justin Smitley, a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Bellator veteran, and holder of multiple MMA titles in twenty professional bouts, who has coached for twenty-three years and helped create dozens of regional and world kickboxing and MMA champions. Coach Ben Khoshaba is a professional mixed martial artist with a lifelong background in wrestling and combat sports, experience in boxing, Muay Thai, shoot boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and submission wrestling, and a coaching focus on strong fundamentals, discipline, and mental toughness. Kickboxing instructor Mercedez Smitley has practiced mixed martial arts for eighteen years, holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, has competed in multiple tournaments, became Oakdale, California’s first female Mixed Martial Arts Amateur Atomweight Champion after her sixth amateur bout, and has been an active professional MMA fighter since 2017.
