Mr. D's Music Club offers The Creative Spaces, an after-school program with singing, acting, dancing, art, and group performances for children ages 8-12. It also offers summer camps with singing, dancing, acting, and art for ages 8-12, plus a Jr LIT & LIT Program for ages 13 and 14.

- The Creative Spaces — 8-12 · Fall: Sep 15-Dec 6, 2026; Spring: Feb 2-Apr 25, 2027; Tuesday-Thursday 3:30-5:30 pm; optional Wednesday Creative Studio 2:00-3:30 pm · After-school performing arts program with singing, acting, dancing, art, and group performances. No experience required. Children ages 8-12.
- Summer Camps — 8-12; Jr LIT & LIT Program: 13 & 14 · June-July 2027 · Summer camps with singing, dancing, acting, and art. No previous experience or formal training required. LIT Program available for 13 & 14 year olds.

About the provider
Mr. D's Music Club started with one week of summer camp in 2011 and has grown into a summer camp and after-school program serving children in Oakland and beyond. It is described as a collaborative, arts-based community that brings Teaching Artists and curious kids together to Keep Kids Inspired, and it has been recognized by Oakland and East Bay families since 2014.
- Trial Class — New to The Creative Spaces · Each child may attend one Trial Class before enrolling. The trial fee is credited to the account and automatically applied to the next registration.
No previous experience or formal training required. Children are included and supported; every child participates in performances. Limited financial assistance is available. Monthly payment plans available for Creative Spaces. Camp registration opens in January 2027.
