Big Break Jiu-Jitsu offers classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and conditioning. The program includes classes for children, teenagers, and adults, with options for beginner through advanced skill levels. Classes are taught by experienced coaches in a welcoming, no-pressure environment.

Big Break Jiu-Jitsu is a local family operated martial arts school founded by David Dean and Samantha Dean, both accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitors with international experience. David began training in 2004, and Samantha started in 2010. The program’s stated goal is to teach practical and realistic self-defense as well as prepare for competition, with a mission to empower families through martial arts and uplift the East Bay community. Big Break Jiu-Jitsu has been voted Oakley’s #1 martial arts school for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and serves families from Oakley, Brentwood, Antioch, Discovery Bay, and across the East Bay. The program is also a Visions and Compass Charter school vendor serving the East Bay.
