Tumble Rider is a gymnastics program where children practice the fundamentals of gymnastics inside a specially equipped bus. During class, children take part in activities such as stretching, practicing listening skills, cooperation, communication by engagement, and waiting in line for the rock climbing wall.
• Ages: 2–8 years old
• Schedule: Class options Monday–Friday, various hours; classes are 45 minutes long
• Price: $22 per child, per class
The bus contains mats, a balance beam, a zipline, a slide, a tunnel, and a rock climbing wall. The program’s mission states that the bus is made for educating children on the fundamentals of gymnastics, communication by engagement, and other lifelong skills like self-confidence, and that classes aid in developing social skills, incorporating motor skills, hand and eye coordination, following directions, and socializing with peers. Skills taught in the program are approved by Early Childhood Development guidelines. Online payments are accepted via the Parent Portal.
Tumble Rider is led by Director/Owner and preschool teacher Janael Cooper. The director has an A.A. degree in general education and over 20 Early Childhood Education units, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development with an emphasis in child psychology, and over twenty years of experience as an early educator.
Parents are informed that they will enjoy the opportunity to visit with other parents wanting to create a healthy foundation for their children.
