The Kids & Youth Program is divided into two groups: Little Kids (ages 5–8) and Kids/Teens (ages 8–13). Little Kids classes focus on foundational movements, coordination, and playful learning, while Kids/Teens classes include a deeper focus on techniques, strategy, and controlled live training. All classes are taught by either a Brown or Black Belt instructor.

The program’s stated mission is to offer a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment where children develop technical skill and character through Jiu-Jitsu, with a culture built on four pillars: Community, Self-Mastery, Self-Defense, and Competition. 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu is described as a non-traditional system of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu developed by Eddie Bravo, focused on training without the gi, with an emphasis that the art should keep evolving. The academy is described as being home to students from all walks of life aspiring to achieve their personal training goals.

The Kids & Youth Program offers a Limited Time Offer to claim a free intro class, and there are “TRY A FREE CLASS” options for both Orange and Fullerton. Membership plans allow unlimited training at both locations with no contracts and the option to cancel anytime. Recommended attire includes shorts without zippers or pockets and a rash guard or compression/dry fit shirt, and families are advised to bring water, a change of clothes, and easy on-and-off footwear for entering and exiting the mats, along with trimmed nails and a positive attitude.

One parent, Omar Santisteban, describes coaches Mike John and Jon Cho as “a couple of master class martial artists” and notes detailed teaching and classes filled with students who help beginners and challenge experienced students. Another visitor, Michael Hartson, describes Jon as “an incredible coach and teacher from beginners to advanced” who breaks down moves efficiently and checks that students are learning. A student, Ashley Vierra, notes that the instructors are “great,” highlights a sense of community and team, and mentions consistently attending since her first Jiu-Jitsu class, including using the 6am class offered Monday–Friday.
