BASF Kids’ Lab STEAM Camp is a weeklong summer STEAM camp that includes interactive experiments, art projects, and collaborative challenges. The program is an interactive, fun, and free chemistry education program that shows students the connection between science and art. Its curriculum is designed to engage students in hands-on learning experiences that highlight the connection between science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), and two sessions welcomed a total of 23 students.

The camp takes place at BASF’s Orange, California site in partnership with the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center in Anaheim, including a partnership with Muzeo, a museum that engages the community in exploring diverse heritage, culture, and arts. The program is part of community outreach programs like Kids’ Lab. The leadership team includes Vasilis Contos, Site Manager at BASF’s Orange, California site, who stated, “BASF is committed to inspiring the next generation of engineers and chemists,” and, “Through community outreach programs like Kids’ Lab, we aim to ignite a passion in young people for learning and encourage their interest in STEAM fields. These programs are designed to spark curiosity and nurture the next generation of innovators.”
