OC Zoo Educational Programs offers the Beaks, Wings Feathers Program for ages 5 to 10. It also offers the Scales Tails Preschool Program, the Feathery Friends Preschool Program, the Halloween Art Family Program, the Wild North America Preschool Program, and the Halloween Animal Art Preschool Program.

An audio tour is available by dialing (714) 481-0355 on a cell phone and entering the animal exhibit number followed by the # key. The tour is free. The zoo is open Sunday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 3:30 pm, and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.
