Groza Learning Center

Groza Learning Center offers Summer Camps and Kinder Prep Summer Programs of Learning & Fun for kids in PreK through 12th grade. Its programs include Academy for Young Entrepreneurs, Young Novelist Summer Writing Workshop, Bridge Academy private tutoring, Creative Writing Camp, Credit Recovery Program, and Kinder Prep Summer Adventure Camp. Services are available in-center, online, and in-home, and the center says programs are customized to each student’s needs and learning style.

• Summer Camps & Kinder Prep / Summer Programs of Learning & Fun For Kids! — PreK - 12th Grade · Summer programs in-center, online, and in-home.
• Academy for Young Entrepreneurs — Two weeks of activities on themes including failure, entrepreneurship, marketing and communication, financial literacy, ideas in action, and presentation skills.
• Young Novelist Summer Writing Workshop — grades 3 through 6 · Monday-Friday 9am-12pm · 20 hours over 10 days; sessions listed for June 21-July 2, July 12-July 23, and July 26-August 6.
• Bridge Academy — PreK-12 · Individualized 1:1 private tutoring in reading intervention, reading comprehension, writing skills, mathematics, study skills, and foreign languages.
• Creative Writing Camp — grades 3 through 12 · A creative writing program where children draft an entire novel in ten days.
• Credit Recovery Program — Online, in-center in Pacific Palisades, and in-home classes in the Los Angeles area.
• Kinder Prep Summer Adventure Camp — Combines camp with early learning literacy skills and math foundation to help transition into kindergarten.

About the provider

Groza Learning Center says it has been helping students meet their highest academic potential since 2002. Tatyana Yukhtman is the Director of Education, and the page also names Brodie, Brian, Corey, and Eliza as part of the team. The center says it recognizes and respects neurodiversity and has extensive experience with differentiated instruction. It also says its leadership team has been in education since 1996 and that its instructors are graduates of universities such as Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.

The center says programs are customized to each student's needs and learning style. It adjusts curriculum and teaching to keep students engaged. It serves students from Pre-K to college. The page also states that it accommodates learning differences including ADD/ADHD, processing and cognitive issues, Asperger’s, Autism, executive functioning deficits, gifted students, and more.
