About the provider
Sandy Days Kids Camp was founded in 2009 and is now in its 18th season. The leadership team includes Sina Monjazeb, David “Hippie” Emeson, and Robyn Mitsch. The program follows California, Los Angeles County, and American Camp Association guidelines, and staff are CPR and First Aid certified.

Camp safety is emphasized. Camper-to-counselor ratio is 6:1. Campers must wear yellow rash guards, stay inside boundaries, use the buddy system for restroom visits, hydrate, reapply sunscreen, and follow camp rules. Water activities depend on safe ocean conditions and LA County Lifeguards. Campers are supervised by counselors and a lifeguard.
