Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Center offers therapeutic horseback riding, equine-assisted therapy, and other equine-assisted services. Specially trained therapy horses play a central role in these activities for riders with disabilities. The program includes all special needs, all ages equine-assisted therapy programs and serves thousands of children and adults with disabilities.

Since 1982, Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Center has provided equine-assisted services and has more than 40 years of experience. Its mission is elevating the capabilities of kids and adults with disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding. Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. In partnership with Desert Arc, Angel View, CARD (Center for Autism & Related Disorders), local school districts, and families, the program reaches a large number of riders, with more than 100 riders benefiting each year. Specially trained therapy horses are supported in part through sponsorships, and a $10,000 sponsorship covers a horse for a year.
