In Movement Dance offers dance classes that include hip-hop, jazz, ballet, contemporary, tap, breaking, and creative movement. The program also includes arts and crafts, movie time, creative activities, games, movement exploration, sound bath downtime, fun games and team activities, as well as performance and leadership opportunities.
• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Weekly camp sessions with options in July and early August, including daytime summer dance camp and youth/teen classes, plus evening summer dance intensive and company choreography camp
• Price: Weekly camp rate $199 per week; Early Bird + Family & Friends Special $149 per week; Early Drop-Off + Late Pick-Up Package $60; Company Rate $325 for the entire camp
In Movement Dance states that its mission is to provide high-quality, accessible dance education that focuses on technical skill, mental resilience, emotional intelligence, and physical well-being. The program uses a Head, Heart & Body Centers framework that includes nutrition, recovery practices, emotional intelligence, and mindset training alongside dance technique. To date, In Movement Dance reports that it has helped over 40 students gain access to professional training. The program has been recognized by the U.S. Congress for its role in raising funds to fight hunger and describes itself as supporting the local community nonprofit.
