Lightning Soccer Club says its main goal is to keep athletes out of trouble and have them focus on a way of living through the sport. It also says the club opened its doors on April 14, 2010 with the purpose of helping the community through a competitive environment, and that it has approval and recognition from the city of Lancaster and Palmdale through the Department of Parks & Recreation.
The club provides youth with a well organized program to bring out the best in each developing athlete. Athletes will learn good values such as responsibility, discipline, tolerance, commitment, loyalty, sacrifice, and consistency.
