Paul George Elite Basketball offers program practice sessions and P.G. Summer Youth Camps for young basketball players. Program practices include separate elementary and middle school sessions on scheduled days.
• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Program practice on Tuesday, June 23 and Thursday, June 25 with elementary sessions from 6:00pm–7:15pm and middle school sessions from 7:30pm–9:00pm
The Paul George Elite Basketball Organization describes itself as a “Grassroots Program” with a mission to promote the continued development of young student-athletes through teaching sportsmanship and the fundamentals of basketball. The program states that it focuses on both basketball skills and life skills that athletes can use in the “game of life.” It is inspired by nine-time NBA All-Star Paul George and describes itself as a “family” built on individual responsibility, shared sacrifice, collective pride, genuine partnership, and an absence of special privileges.
Paul George Elite Basketball is an official member of the Nike Grassroots family and Nike EYBL, and PG Elite is a member of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball Family. The program is again a member of the MADE Hoops Winter Circuit and notes that the MADE Hoops Winter Circuit will have its 6th annual West League kicking off in December 2025. P.G. Elite established itself as a national powerhouse, completed an undefeated season, and won the 2020 Winter Lea8ge Championship. It was selected as one of 16 teams on the West Coast that will compete at four location stops: Phoenix, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and Las Vegas.
The program is comprised of teams at all skill levels, ranging from developmental teams to elite national level circuits, and it culminates in the grassroots Nike EYBL platform. The program is described as being designed for players who are determined and committed to being “great.” It focuses on teaching and developing the fundamentals of basketball, including offense, defense, mental preparation, and conditioning, and states that players will develop skills to apply to everyday life.
The elementary division (7U–11U) is described as being for young players ready to take their game to the “next level.” P.G. Elementary offers teams for all players’ skill levels, from developmental teams to youth elite “travel teams.” The program states that it promotes a healthy and positive environment and emphasizes parent and family accountability. It also offers an official P.G.E. Team Store.
