The Paul George Elite Basketball Organization is described as a “Grassroots Program” with a mission to promote the continued development of young student-athletes through teaching sportsmanship and the fundamentals of basketball, and to teach life skills related to the “game of life.” The program is inspired by nine-time NBA All-Star Paul George and has an accomplished coaching staff. It is an official member of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball Family (Nike EYBL) and the Nike Grassroots family, and it operates on a grassroots Nike EYBL platform. The program has elementary division teams for ages 7U–11U, youth elite travel teams, and participates in the MADE Hoops Middle School West Lea8ue Winter Circuit, where it was selected as one of 16 teams on the West Coast for the MADE Hoops West League. The program reports a strong and aggressive media presence through the MADE Hoops circuit, lists alumni who have played in the NCAA and the NBA, and offers an official P.G.E. Team Store and P.G. Summer Youth Camps. The program describes itself as a “family” with individual responsibility, shared sacrifice, collective pride, and genuine partnership. The EYBL, of which the program is a part, was created in 2010 as a division of NIKE, Inc., and Paul George Elite completed an undefeated season and won the 2020 Winter Lea8ge Championship.
