Palo Alto AYSO Region 26 offers youth soccer programs that include recreational soccer, competitive soccer, and Select/competitive soccer programs. The program’s CORE recreational soccer program emphasizes the AYSO philosophies of Everyone Plays® and Player Development. Palo Alto AYSO is one of the area’s longest-running youth soccer programs and is powered entirely by volunteers.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Fall season runs from August through November/December, and spring season runs from February to May/June; players in 8U and older divisions generally practice twice per week and play one weekly game, typically on Saturdays; the 6U program is expected to run for approximately 8–9 weeks beginning in mid-September.
• Price: Scholarships do not cover the $25 AYSO National fee or $3.50 online service fee.
Palo Alto AYSO Region 26 is a volunteer-based non-profit organization that provides youth soccer programs and is 100% volunteer driven. It is one of the American Youth Soccer Organization’s (AYSO) oldest regional programs and is the oldest soccer program in Palo Alto. Scholarships are available for families with demonstrated financial need to help offset local registration costs, and typical scholarship awards cover up to 50% of registration fees, with higher assistance possible for families with exceptional need and volunteer participation. Scholarship applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and may take up to three weeks for review.
