About
The California Invention Convention Invention Education Program has students identify a problem in their own lives or that of their families, then create an invention that solves a problem in their life, their community, or the world. During the program, students employ problem solving and creative thinking processes to develop an invention idea and build a prototype of the solution. The invention education curriculum is a K–12, 10-week program that is taught in the classroom or offered as part of an after-school program.
