Edgewood House Preschool

Edgewood House Preschool offers a play-based preschool program for ages 3-5. The daily schedule includes arrival and free choice activities, morning meeting and small group study, inside and outside exploration, morning circle time, lunch, after-lunch active play, rest, nap, quiet activity time, afternoon snack and activities, clean up, small group games and stories, afternoon circle time, and goodbyes.

About the provider

Edgewood House Preschool was founded 18 years ago. Mallory Brown Tinsley and Janessa Kats are the co-owners, directors, and founders, and Tanya Stabinsky is named as the founding owner. The mission is to bring together best practices for play-based and family-style learning in a relationship-based community of teachers, parents, and children, and to provide a child-centered preschool program in a philosophically balanced, developmentally appropriate learning environment. The program was created and grown with support from friends, colleagues, and former parents.
