New Mozart School of Music offers private piano, violin, voice, cello, guitar, flute, clarinet, saxophone, and French horn lessons, along with Harmony Road and Amadeus Way programs. Students at New Mozart School of Music explore classical, popular, jazz, and rock music, and everything in between. Private lessons run year round, and students can join at any time, with no long-term commitment because lessons are month to month.

New Mozart School of Music has been serving Silicon Valley and the Palo Alto community since 1989 and has helped thousands of families in the Peninsula learn music over the years. The school began as Christine Eunmi Shin Piano Studio and became New Mozart School of Music after moving to its University Avenue space in February 2004. It is described as the largest music school in Palo Alto, with nearly 40 teachers, 17 classrooms, and a performance space.
Eight teachers at New Mozart School of Music have doctorate degrees, and the teaching staff is described as highly accomplished, experienced, and nurturing, with a proven track record of helping students reach their musical goals. Director Christine Shin is the founder and director and created the Amadeus Way program, which is described as the culmination of over two decades of experience in early childhood music education and 37 years of experience in piano and vocal pedagogy. The school offers NATS, CM, RCM, ABRSM, and ASTA exams, and holds recitals at professional venues including the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, Santa Clara University Recital Hall, and the Palo Alto Art Center.

New Mozart’s talented students are scheduled to make their debut at Solti Hall in Budapest, Hungary, on July 2, 2026, following performances at Vienna’s Musikverein and New York’s Carnegie Hall.
