New Mozart School of Music offers private piano, violin, voice, cello, guitar, flute, clarinet, saxophone, and French horn lessons, as well as group Harmony Road classes. The program includes Music in Me and More Music in Me for 3–4-year-olds, Harmony Road 1 for 5–6-year-olds, and New Mozart Pianists for 6–9-year-olds. Students can study classical, popular, jazz, rock, and other styles of music.

New Mozart School of Music has been serving the Palo Alto community since 1989 and is described as the largest music school in Palo Alto, with private lessons running year round and nearly 40 teachers. The school offers a wide range of programs, including piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, clarinet, saxophone, flute, voice, and Harmony Road, and provides recitals at professional venues such as the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, SCU Recital Hall, and the Palo Alto Art Center. Its Harmony Road program has been used to teach piano to young children for over two decades.
The teaching staff includes highly accomplished and experienced teachers who understand the needs of individual students, with eight teachers holding doctorate degrees. Teachers are experienced early childhood music educators with piano or voice degrees who refined their skills at institutions such as Juilliard, Mozarteum, and Princeton, and they have a record of helping students reach their musical goals. The school’s founder and director is Christine Shin.
