F.C. Golden State Youth Soccer Club offers soccer for boys and girls on organized teams. These teams compete in the Coast Soccer League (CSL), the U.S. Soccer Development Academy (USSDA), and the Professional Developmental League (PDL).

F.C. Golden State Youth Soccer Club is a non-profit organization with nearly 100 boys and girls teams between the ages of 5–19. FCGS was formed in 2007, spurred by the vision of developing soccer players to their highest potential utilizing unique up-to-date training methods. The club describes itself as having a family orientated atmosphere and offering serious soccer for serious soccer players. The coaching staff incorporates highly qualified European, South American, Central American, Mexican, and US coaches, and the leadership team includes Robert Friedland. The club’s mission states that coaches and directors work to enhance each child's soccer ability and to help them mature and grow into a well-rounded adult on and off the field, with goals for players to either pursue a career in professional soccer or successfully attend a university. F.C. Golden State believes that every child should have the opportunity to receive the best training from quality coaches at a superb value and to compete at their highest level.
