Pasadena Conservatory of Music offers individual and group instruction, music history courses, masterclasses, summer camps, workshops, and concerts. The program also includes an adult jazz combo program, guest artist recitals, and a concert series in the community.

Pasadena Conservatory of Music is a place of study, performance, and collaboration dedicated to teaching traditional and contemporary music. Children as young as four months and adults of all ages take lessons, and the school presents more than 200 performances each year. It offers a broad range of programs organized into 12 departments: Young Musicians; Strings; Guitar; Piano; Vocal Arts; Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion; Jazz; Music Production, Theory, and Composition; Chamber Music; Outreach; Adult Studies; and World Music.
The Pasadena Conservatory of Music was founded on December 31, 1983, and is described as founded in 1984, and it is celebrating over 40 years of music education. The adult jazz combo program began in 2018 with one combo and now has four combos that meet every week, and this program is led by Sherry Luchette. The conservatory has highly accomplished faculty members.
More than 1,000 students attend the school annually, and over 3,000 students in schools throughout the Pasadena Unified School District benefit from its community engagement programs. It hosts an outreach program and provides master classes, guest-artist recitals, and concerts for the Pasadena community and beyond.
The Pasadena Conservatory of Music is a nationally accredited community music school. It is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Precollegiate Arts Schools and is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music. It belongs to the National Guild for Community Arts Education and is a member of the Pasadena Arts Council.
