Remainders Creative Space Classes and Open Studio

Remainders Creative Space Classes and Open Studio offers activities such as sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery, and needlepoint, along with time in a Community Open Studio. The program also includes a Six Week Sewing Construction Series and a Needlework Meetup. In addition, participants can use a recording studio for recording music, podcasts, vocals, and voiceovers.

Remainders Creative Space Classes and Open Studio is part of REMAINDERS, a 501c3 nonprofit creative space and arts and crafts reuse store with more than 10 years serving the community. REMAINDERS provides low cost materials and classes to the community in Pasadena and Altadena, CA, and focuses on creative reuse and sustainability by diverting thousands of pounds of usable materials from landfills. The organization reports that more than 20,000 pounds of materials are donated and processed every month and that over 12,000 students have been taught. Remainders partners with groups, organizations, and schools and is described as a staple of the local creative community, providing resources and space to learn and make.
