About
Contessi Ballet School offers a variety of dance activities including Classical Ballet, Pointe, Pas de Deux, Contemporary dance, Character, Tap, STOTT pilates, modern, hip hop, and jazz. The program is known for its small, technique-focused classes that utilize the Vaganova and Cecchetti methods. Guest dancers from Puerto Rico also participate in the program.

Contessi Ballet School has been a part of the community since 1976 and is North Bay's only non-profit studio. The school is involved with the North Bay Performing Arts Association and is led by Board President Kathleen Mankowski. As a nonprofit, the school seeks support from the community to maintain its small-sized classes and specialized training.
