Academy of Jeet Kune Do Sciences – Black Dragons Teen Self-Defense

Academy of Jeet Kune Do Sciences – Black Dragons Teen Self-Defense includes teen self-defense classes that are part of the Black Dragons program. Teens train in Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do along with Muay Thai Chaiya, Applied Escrima, Krabi-Krabong, Shastar-Vidya, Kali/Escrima, and Muay Chaiya/Silat. The program also connects to J.K.D. (All Levels) classes offered at the same academy.

• Ages: 12–16 years old
• Schedule: Black Dragons teen self-defense classes are offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4–5pm; additional related classes such as J.K.D. (All Levels), Muay Chaiya/Silat, Kali/Escrima, Krabi-Krabong, Shastar-Vidya, and private lessons are available on various weekdays and Saturdays.
• Price: $10/month for non-students to sign up for the AJKDS digital classroom.

The Academy of Jeet Kune Do Sciences states its mission as practical self-defense and effective, street-oriented martial arts. It has taught practical martial arts in Petaluma for over twenty years and has provided training for professional military, security/protection, MMA personnel, beginners, youth, and martial arts enthusiasts of all ages. The academy is both JKD Concepts and Jun Fan JKD certified in Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do. In-person students receive free access to the AJKDS Digital Student Portal, and non-students can subscribe to this digital classroom for $10 per month to access training materials from anywhere in the world. A quoted passage from Bruce Lee’s “Tao of Jeet Kune Do” is used to describe the simplicity and directness of Jeet Kune Do movements.
