The program includes age-appropriate instruction and programs that are optimized for developmental milestones at each age group. It is described as being designed to be convenient for today’s busy families and emphasizes multi-sport play and sampling.

i9 Sports is the nation’s largest multi-sport provider focused solely on high-quality, community-based youth sports programs. Youth soccer leagues are offered for kids ages 3–14, and beginner-friendly youth basketball leagues are offered for kids ages 5–14. Beginner-friendly youth flag football leagues frequently run year-round and are available nationwide. Nike Kids Camps powered by i9 Sports are designed for campers ages 5–12, with age groups broken out for age-appropriate skills.

Across all age groups, the program integrates one of nine sportsmanship values into practice and game play each week. Players who best demonstrate the weekly sportsmanship value receive the i9 Sports Excellence in Sportsmanship medal. The program also includes a Parental Pledge for sidelines behavior and a referral program that offers $10 off the next registration for every friend who registers. Franchise opportunities are available for those who want to open an i9 Sports franchise.

i9 Sports is proud to support the Aspen Institute’s national Project Play initiative and has been selected as a Project Play Champion for taking meaningful actions to encourage multi-sport sampling and help grow national youth sports participation rates. It has been recognized as a Project Play Champion by the Aspen Institute’s national Project Play initiative.

Parents have shared that the program is very well run and focuses on teaching good sportsmanship and respect for one another, and that it has been a positive experience to see kids enjoy playing sports with no pressure about performance, as described by Erica M. from Phoenix, AZ. Christian F. from Atlanta, GA, Kerry G. from New Braunfels, TX, and Lisa G. from Charlotte, NC, describe organized coaching, clear communication, measures to keep kids as safe as possible, and appreciation that practice, game, and fun are all in one morning.
