Keenan Irish Dance School

Keenan Irish Dance School offers Irish dance classes for children and adults, including young beginners, beginners, intermediate, and advanced dancers. Classes include beginners soft shoes, intermediate and advanced soft and hard shoes, ceili figure classes, a home school dance program, and adult classes in soft shoes, hard shoes, and ceili.

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Class options are available Monday through Sunday, with weekday afternoon and evening classes and Friday daytime options.
• Price: Yearly registration is $50.00 per student and tuition prices vary depending on the class and level.

The Keenan Irish Dance School states that it works to bring the joy and fun of traditional Irish dance to all. Each dancer is placed in a class based on age and level, with beginner classes starting at age 3 and continuing through adult years, and classes available for students with and without prior dance experience. The program includes a home school dance program for students who want to attend during the day, and new enrollment is available all year. The school notes that all dancers are welcomed to be part of its dance family and that there is a place for every person interested in Irish dancing, from young beginners to ambitious competitors.

The program is led by Fidelma Keenan-Glaser, a TCRG certified dance instructor. The staff are TCRG certified dance instructors vetted through An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha in Dublin, Ireland, along with the California Safety course. Keenan Irish Dance School is also a vendor at the Heartwood Charter School.
