About the provider

Life On Art unites people from diverse communities to co-create handmade large scale interactive art as a platform for social action and healing. The organization welcomes community participation, and community members become collaborators and guest artists. It also works with invisible and forgotten communities, including patients at DSH-Napa, who contribute as artists by painting, singing, sharing stories, and leading conversations.

What families say

“When you pair art with the human being or any living being, magic can happen. Freedom can happen that you haven’t felt before.” — Catherine Lecce Chong

“It’s empowering when our human family comes together with open hearts to create beauty, forge compassion, and acknowledge those who feel most unseen and unloved in our society.” — Tracy Ferron
