O'Brien Center of the Arts

O'Brien Center of the Arts offers dance classes for kids that include ballet, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, improv, flexibility, and conditioning. The program also runs summer intensives at the studio for younger students that include extra conditioning, master classes with guest teachers, and chances to try new forms of dance. Students perform twice a year at Spreckles Performing Arts Center in the Holiday Gift and a separate spring show with new choreography.

About the provider

O'Brien Center of the Arts opened in 2012. Martha O'Brien started the program to share her knowledge and love of ballet with the children of Sonoma County and believes that every child can benefit from taking ballet because of the confidence and discipline it instills. She applies elements from Russian, French, and English techniques to create well rounded and versatile dancers.
