Petaluma Valley Little League offers T-Ball, Little League, Intermediate 50/70, and teenage baseball through Junior and Senior divisions. The program also includes special events and activities such as a Home Run Derby, Sandlot Games, and a D35 Umpire Clinic.

Founded in 1971, Petaluma Valley Little League states that its goal is to use the sport of baseball to develop the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. Petaluma Valley Little League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that relies on sponsorships to provide children in the community with a youth sports program and to keep sign-up fees affordable, provide scholarships, and upgrade and repair the facility. The league lists a Sponsorship Chair, Sabian Campbell, and offers sponsor options such as Murphy Field Outfield Banner sponsorships, a Batting Cage Banner on the field-facing side of the cage, a Scoreboard Sign below the main scoring face year-round, and a Bleacher Sign on the street-facing side of the bleachers year-round. Additional sponsor and family features include full or half-page ads in the Valley yearbook given to every player at the end of the year, Murphy Field Webcams, a Valley Fanwear Store, and Dine & Donate events.
