What: Kids explore the theater-making process through games and activities that build creativity, collaboration, and confidence. Each Sandcastle Drama Camp session explores a different story theme, the campers re-write the script as an ensemble to incorporate all their *original creative ideas for story, character, and design* resulting in a completely unique final play for performance each week.

Who: Kids ages 6-12
- Program led by Sandcastle Theater Company's professional teaching artists
- Approx. 16 students per weekly session (1:8 student/staff ratio)
Where: Polly Klaas Community Theater, 417 Western Ave. Petaluma, CA
When: Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm
- June 8 - 12 — make-your-own-play! Theme: The Princess & the Pea
- July 6 - 10 — make-your-own-play! Theme: Alice in Wonderland
- July 27 - 31 — make-your-own-play! Puss in Boots
Final Performances: Families and invited guests join us for a staged-reading/performance at 2:30pm on last day of the session.
Daily Schedule:
- 9am check-in/drop-off
- 9:30am warm-up games
- 10am session activities
- 10:30am snack
- 10:45am session activities
- 12pm lunch
- 12:30pm session activities
- 1:30pm recess
- 1:45pm session activities
- 3pm check-out/pick-up

- Kids bring their own lunch, water bottle, snacks

- Cancellation requests must be made in writing via [email protected].
- 30 or more days prior to program start: Eligible for full refund, minus $50 Cancellation Fee.
- 7 days - 29 days prior to program start: Eligible for 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days prior to program start: No refunds, except on a case-by-case basis (illness, family emergency, certain extenuating circumstances)
- In lieu of cancellation, families may transfer registration to a different session (space permitting)
- Flexible Pricing is open to all (no qualification needed) in an effort to make programs more accessible/reduce barriers for participation
