American Martial Arts Academy was founded in 1992 and opened a second studio in 2012. It is a family-owned-and-operated business with a family centered focus and has been celebrated as one of the best martial arts studios in the country. The program offers a Little Ninjas program for ages 3–5, Kids Martial Arts Programs for ages 6–12, a summer camp for ages 5 and up, and an After School Program for all ages, along with flexible, mix-and-match classes and flexible class schedules for busy families.

The mission of American Martial Arts Academy is: “We provide character-driven instruction that helps children and adults thrive.” The program is led by founder Shihan Brad Wenneberg, a retired police officer, along with Bonnie, Sensei Jason, and Senseis Nikhil and Megan Joshi. Extraordinary instructors are full-time staff who have experienced the benefits of martial arts firsthand, and most started with American Martial Arts Academy as children.
