Imagination Theater offers chances to audition, perform in plays, volunteer backstage, help with marketing, and stay involved through social gatherings and events. Participants can also take part in trivia nights and karaoke moments connected with the theater’s activities.

Imagination Theater has been bringing professional-quality theater to El Dorado County for over 25 years and has been part of the creative heartbeat of El Dorado County for more than 25 years. Its mission is to tell good stories well in an atmosphere of trust, respect, personal growth, and challenge. It is described as El Dorado County’s community theater and home for live performance, where local talent shines and everyone belongs, and it remains rooted in El Dorado County through collaboration, education, and performance. The theater is described as a community theater that supports local groups, organizations, and businesses, and it features children’s productions, family musicals, drama, comedy, and variety shows. Imagination Theater also offers the IT! CAST program, which keeps performers and crew from past productions connected through social gatherings and events.
Free parking is available at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, and tickets can be purchased online or at the door before performances, subject to availability. The facility is ADA accessible.
