About
Empowerment Summer Camp for Girls offers women’s self defense training, yoga, meditation, dance, outdoor sports, Beach Day, empowerment talks, core workout, SHIELD self defense classes, boat ride/water therapy, and a self awareness and building confidence workshop. The program is for girls ages 8 to 18 and meets Monday to Friday, 10am to 4 pm.

About the provider
The program has been running since 2003. Its mission is to empower women and girls, help eradicate sexual assault, and level the playing field through a unique and practical self-defense training system.
