About

IMUA Universal Volleyball Club offers volleyball, clinics, and tryouts. The program holds organized tryouts for different groups of players across the year.

• Ages: 13–18 years old
• Schedule: Tryout dates for the 2026–2027 season are July 25 and July 26 for girls high school ages, and October 3 and October 4 for girls 8th grade and below; boys all ages tryout dates are listed as TBD/not yet posted for that season. Tryout dates for the current 2025–2026 season for all boys and girls have already passed.

IMUA Universal Volleyball Club states that it is committed to helping children develop attitudes and attributes that guide them through failures and toward success through the sport of volleyball, and that it hopes the understanding they discover will lead them in their ongoing pursuits of joy, happiness, and success. The club began in the Inland Empire and now draws boys and girls from Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Fontana, Walnut, Arcadia, Upland, Claremont, Chino Hills, Loma Linda, Diamond Bar, Montclair, Victorville, Rialto, Pomona, West Covina, San Dimas, Moreno Valley, and additional areas. The club notes that its boys teams are ranked #1 in the Inland Empire and that IMUA alumni have been recruited to Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA volleyball programs, and it highlights a Philippine National Team Training Invite.

IMUA Universal Volleyball Club lists a history of competitive results, including being home of the USAV Boys National Champions 2024 Club Division, with the 17UA and 16UA teams earning gold medals and the 18UA team earning a silver medal at USAV Junior Nationals in 2024. In 2022, the 17UA team won a bronze medal and received an Open Bid to Junior Nationals, and the 15UA team won a bronze medal and received a USA Bid to Junior Nationals. In 2021, the 16UA team competed in the Junior Nationals Open Division with the top 30 teams in the nation, and four IMUA boys teams competed in Junior Nationals in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2019, the 14s boys placed 5th at Junior Nationals in their division, the 17s girls placed 15th at Junior Nationals in their division, and the 18s girls were Gold Division champions at the AAU West Coast Aftershock Tournament with a first-place 8–0 sweep. Additional results include the 14s boys ranked 12th in the So Cal Boys Classic Tournament in 2018 and being in Gold Division 1 as the only 14s team from the Inland Empire in 2019, the 16s Aqua placing 9th in the Gold Bracket at the 2018 Junior National Qualifiers USA Division, and the 12s team moving from the Flight Division to the Gold Division in one season in 2018. Earlier results include the 16s Aqua taking 1st place at the Arizona Festivals Competition Division in 2017, the 15s Aqua taking 2nd at the AAU Orlando Junior National Championships Sapphire Division in 2017, the first boys team posting a 12–1 record in 2017, the 14s Aqua taking 1st place at the Arizona Festival Challenge Division in 2016, and the club’s first 12s and 14s teams recording a 12–0 season in 2013.
