The Conrad Prebys Ramona Branch Afterschool Program offers fun and structured activities for kids, including weekly field trips, swimming, and events. The program includes a walking program from Ramona Elementary and transportation from Ramona Community Montessori. It takes place at the Conrad Prebys Ramona Branch and is run in a safe environment with CPR certified staff.
• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: Afterschool hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM, and Wednesday from 12:30 PM to 6 PM
• Price: $60 – Annual membership (membership fee is due upon registration); $7 – Afterschool Program; $12 – Afterschool Program with Transportation; afterschool and transportation fees are paid in month increments based on the number of service days in the month, and fees must be paid in advance; afterschool program fees are for kids who are in the walking program or who get to the Club through other means (parents, district buses, etc.)
The program is led by Branch Manager Simone McCune. It is part of an organization that has over 80 years of experience, with sites throughout San Diego. The mission of the program is to inspire and enable youth to achieve academic success, build good character and responsible citizenship, and make healthy lifestyle choices.
