American River Futbol Club offers year round competitive soccer, futsal, and a futsal academy. The program also runs tryouts and provides a referee course. Training and futsal take place in a dedicated indoor space.

• Schedule: Tryouts for US-U14 run May 11–14, and tryouts for U15–U19 run May 18–21

American River FC was established in 2009. The club’s mission is to provide players in the Sacramento area a high quality, low-cost option to year round competitive soccer. Teams compete in the NorCal Premier League, and players come from all over Sacramento, with the majority of training and game fields located in Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Folsom, Orangevale and Rancho Cordova. The club has a futsal academy in the winter, Spirit Wear is available year round from Game One, and the website is powered by Byga, Inc. Coach “Z” (Zadrian) Gonzalez and Coach Mark Brady both recently earned their USSF D licenses, and the Director of Coaching is Rick Carrigan. ARFC families receive a 20% discount on regularly priced merchandise at Soccer Post when they let the sales associate know they are with the club.
