California Adventure Camps offers a wide range of activity-based camps, including football, baseball, soccer, basketball, archery, diving, gymnastics and movement, and a Ninja Warrior course. The program also includes laser tag, field trips, and sessions focused on sports, creative arts, and STEM.
• Schedule: Dynamic before-school, after-school, and expanded learning options
California Adventure Camps partners with over 40 school districts and brings on-site, customized camp experiences directly to school campuses. The program’s staff includes industry professionals such as Olympic and professional athletes, Hollywood filmmakers, artists, and more, all trained in Brain-Based Learning. Notable instructors include former San Francisco Giants player and baseball coach Mitch Lively; pitching coach Donald Wanner, who has seven years of experience, a background as a right-handed pitcher in the United Shore Professional Baseball League, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science; professional soccer coach Steve Johnson; former WNBA star and two-time Olympic gold medalist Ruthie Bolton; National Archery Champion and Olympic hopeful Jordan; U.S. Olympic gold medalist and diving legend Laura Wilkinson; and Shawn Moreno, an elite gymnastics coach, National Champion, former collegiate-level competitor, and Certified USA Gymnastics (USAG) coach. Donald Wanner is in his third year working with youth through California Adventure Camps.
The program’s mission is to offer enrichment programs that inspire and elevate young minds through specialized camp programs and dynamic before-school, after-school, and expanded learning opportunities. It partners with world-class talents to deliver experiences that foster creativity, physical fitness, and personal growth, aiming to create life-changing experiences that ignite passion, build confidence, and develop leadership skills in students. California Adventure Camps focuses on hands-on learning experiences, unique specialized camps, and a blend of sports, creative arts, STEM, and Ninja Warrior activities, with an emphasis on social-emotional learning and well-being. The program features award-winning talent, including a football camp taught by an NFL Hall of Fame player and quarterback coach, soccer camps brought directly to school campuses, and curriculum designed for all skill levels from beginners to advanced players.
